how to move an elephant?

Over the years PJ has collected some very large and oddly shaped props, like our life-size gold elephant! We bought our current truck with the objective to fit our largest prop(the elephant), but when a project finally came up to use him, he didn't fit! So we called up a tow-truck, and it was the craziest thing to see drive through downtown Tacoma ever!

Here's the Bollywood themed Gala he attended before returning home to our 15,000 sq foot warehouse to be reunited with his life-size giraffe friend. :)

Consistent Branding & Job Perks!

Were have had the privilege decorating YWCA's Inspire Luncheons this year, and as always, we customized everything! The graphic design for their posters this year was edgy and artistic. We made custom linens, throw pillows - and flowers for the registration canopies.

And here's a perk to our job, meeting YWCA's inspirational speakers, Jane Fonda & Phylicia Rashad!

Teatro Zinzanni Night

Our office had the treat of going behind the scenes and touring Seattle's Teatro Zinzanni costume department with Louise DiLenge last night, followed by seeing their dinner show! What a fabulous time we had! Louise is TZZ's chief costumer & a amazingly talented woman. She and PJ could probably talk for hours about vintage fabric finds! :)

Here is our fun commemorative photo from the night, AND it's the first picture of all five of us together!

Here's our PJ Hummel & Company office crew: Kelsey, Larissa, PJ, Yuzu, & Ana!
