An urban inspired lounge at Taste Washington 2015 to match Alaska Airline's new branding. The company has a new esthetic utilizing warm wood tones paired with brush metal and organic elements.
Inspired by Alaska’s new branding and “Bring The Outside In,” the lounge was set with a mix of seating options in natural wood-tones, metal and cement elements, and modern shapes. Two high-back white bench couches were paired with three grass turf benches and wooden cart tables. Alaska navy blue throw pillows added a pop of branded color. Six industrial style metal cocktail tables were paired with wooden barrel stools for additional seating.
The Buffet was a show-stopping tiered X table display with concrete posts and cedar tops. One additional low concrete cedar top table was placed along the back wall for exclusive winery pours. The Buffet had three modern tulip arrangements in hues of white and green in modern bias-cut bowls with white river rocks.

YWCA Glam That Gives
Each year the Pierce Country YWCA gathers to raise awareness and funds for their outstanding projects benefiting the community and women in need ~ with Glam That Gives. This year we help raise over $80,000 with a magical New Orleans garden inspired event!
In grand New Orleans~Garden District style, a Victorian ironwork lamp-post entry archway displayed against vine-patterned sheer & Dupioni drapery enticed guests into the hidden garden.
Centered on the Garden Party Patio, was a tall working fountain. The venue’s tall cocktail tables were removed and fun colorful cafe chairs and tables were placed around the central fountain display. An up-lit entrance arch of green Dupioni drape opened into the dining room. The sides of the archway were decorated with white classical garden statues on pedestals with ground covering greenery. Adjacent, another green Dupioni drapey archway with flanking lamp posts marked the Silent Auction room.
The stage was set in the old-world elegance of the New Orleans Garden District. Over-sized wrought iron filigree decorated the front center and along the bottom of the screen. Spiral topiaries with up-lighting and classical white pedestals topped with large ornate candelabras framed the screen sides. Two 16-ft up-lit sections of green vine-patterned sheer drape was placed in front of emerald green satin drape on either side of the stage.
