A few bites of Seattle

Here's a Seattle themed reception that was accomplished with a few target areas that also corresponded with the cuisine of the night. The event revolved around a central bar featuring our Space Needle replica (rising 16' in the air!) with two Glowbars lit in red to match the client's branding. An extensive Pike Place Markets display could be found to the right showcasing Seattle's bountiful harvest.

Three vignettes were set on 60" rounds with serpentine tables branching out for buffets. One represented Seattle nautical Seafood scene with pier pilings, fishing nets, real crab-pots, glass floats, and nautical paraphernalia. Another represented Seattle's International District with a real Chinese tiger costume and striking red linens. The third serpentine display was for a butcher themed station. Decor hadn't been planned for it, but once the rest of the room started shaping up, it started to look awfully naked. Our clever team made faux meat packages & used extra crates, barrels, and linens to dress the buffet beautifully in a pinch.

Venue: Seattle Sheraton's Grand Ballroom
