NW Event show '13 part 2: Exotic Oasis Lounge

The second side of the PJ Hummel booth at the Northwest Event Show took attendees to totally different place – while maintaining a similar color pallet to the Steam Punk side. This side was our Exotic Oasis Lounge! We invited guests to join us under a sheer bronze and burgundy canopy with Moroccan lanterns. Three mendi painted gourd lamps were the focal point once inside with four rattan twirl benches and beaded accent pillows. The back-wall was done in heavy burgundy brocade drapery with bamboo screen walls. We also showcased some of our new linens on the cocktail tables to the sides.

NW Event show '13 part 1: Steam Punk

The PJ Hummel booth at the 2013 Northwest Event Show had two different sides and themes. First, we had Steam Punk! With a base of burlap drapery, Vintage tan Persian rugs and market lights. Our sign was built on old pallets that supported a ladder with metal letters. We showcased lots of new inventory including industrial metal cocktail tables (no linens required!) and matching industrial wooden stools, an industrial factory cart table, spotlight lamps, the clock collection…. And a antique pony! The entire booth was filled with our extensive vintage collection to further the Steam Punk theme!

Northwest Event Show 2012

Trade-show season is upon us once again - and to match our new marketing campaign, PJ Hummel & Co. brought glam camping to the Washington State Convention Center!

Set in front of 20' high soft blue dupioni drapery (to represent a beautiful sunny day!), we pitched our canvas tent! Persian rugs lined the ground, and fun northwest inspired odds and ends filled the booth.

We love designing our own trade-show booths because it's a great way to show off how "kit booths" don't have to be the norm. Textiles are often perceived as more approachable vs. flat foldout signage.

We also designed the Attendee Lounge for the show this year that conveniently doubled as a charging station. How many times have you had a dead cell-phone while out and about? This booth was done in show colors, and was an all around hit!

Northwest Event Show ~ B&E 2011!

This week, PJHC made it's yearly pilgrimage to the the Northwest Banquet & Event Show. This is one of our favorite projects of the year, because we get to be the client! It's all about showing off our favorite things. We always help sponsor the show, providing decor for the registration area and attendee lounge, in exchange for the freedom to do something crazy in our booth.

This year's theme: Indian Indulgence, and our swing was back by popular demand! Our booth was a hit and won the award for Best Booth Overall! Many thanks to the Northwest Event Show for making this all possible!
