Dalmatian Hospital Opening

We recently decorated the opening of a new hospital and emergency room, an event that was kid friendly and firefighter themed. They were trying to make a hospital setting less scary, and more of a fun place to be.

We designed dalmatian vignettes all over, and decorated the railings with spotted ribbon. We also draped the entire third floor, which was still unfinished, to make it into a usable event space.

The hospital took our lead and make fun signage that matched as well. All and all it was very consistent branding, and a delight for the kids.

A Golden Auction

PJ Hummel & Company has added a new color to our extensive drape collection, GOLD SATIN!

We know, why didn't we have this before?! Gold is PJ's personal favorite, and our company is known for our distinctive touches of it. Nevertheless, now it is here in full force, and it is beautiful!

This event was an auction for Tacoma's Annie Wright School, their Gator Gala!
The colors were bronze, black & GOLD! We worked our event magic to the T, transforming their sports gym into a captivating soirée!

The entrance was completely draped in gold satin and sheer bronze. The main ballroom was striped floor to ceiling in black and gold satin. We created a 12' wide by 15' long capiz shell chandelier, that was up-lit & glowed in the room. And the outside entrance was well-lit and romantic with stands of globe piazza style lights strung overhead on our new rust topiaries.

PJ Hummel has reinvented the "draped" wall! Introducing our new mesh pillow paneling system!

This techy and industrial looking 1.5’X1.5’ paneling system can be linked
together with metal grommets in any height and width dimension desired. We think
it's a cool & versatile way to design a modern space.

Our team custom designed & made these in-house, so you'll only find them at PJ Hummel & Company. We already know they're a big hit and show stopper as they made there debut this month in Austin, Texas at the SXSW Trade Show!

WIW Magic!

This past weekend, PJ Hummel & Company could be found at Weddings In Woodinville, and a success it was! We teamed up with Russel's Barn (a beautiful venue!), and created our dream winter wonderland wedding show room. We made a fabulous beaded alter surrounded in LED pillar candles, a fur runner, & 9' tall glitter trees! The whole room was lined in our trees, glowing in every color you can imagine! We had snowflake gobos covering the ceiling, a faux-fur covered lounge, & some of our favorite seating(moon chairs, and gold thrones!).

"It's like Liberace's dream!" - some guests commented. :)

Secret Garden Wedding

We have been dying to share this event since June! It was gorgeous, unique, and featured in the new issue of South Sound Wedding & Event Magazine! (hence the wait!)

This ECAA Award winning wedding was to be unlike any other; a wedding that would encompass traditional Hindu customs as well as modern elements with over-the-top decadence. This was achieved and surpassed with unique components such as a Baraat procession, a custom made Mandap altar, and elaborate décor consisting of rich garnet draperies, thousands of red roses, and an abundance of golden accents.
